Description
The dirt road Denali Highway used to be the only way to get to Denali National Park until the paved Parks Highway was built. The Denali Highway is now considered to be one of the premier road "adventures" in Alaska. Much of the Alaska Range can be seen from the Highway, but the range is usually obsured by clouds. When I visited there in late August/September 2016, the Alaska Range was there in all its glacial and snowy splendor. And the distances seemed to be endless. The autumnal tones added to the splendor of the landscape. I used the Canon 7D MK I and 17-55 f/2.8 lens, handheld and sbot in RAW. The camera exif is ISO 200, f/6.7 @ 1/250 second with a focal length of 47mm.
