Description
One of the joys of living in the shadow of southeast Arizona's Chiricahua Mountains, just a few miles from the border with New Mexico, is the ever-changing view. This is looking to the west from my back yard in the small community of Portal. Cave Creek Canyon, called "The Yosemite of Arizona", is on the right, and the peak is a sentinel to entering the canyon. I took this on a morning when a dry cold front was moving through. I took this with the Canon 7D MK I and Canon 17-55 f/2.8 lens with a circular polarizer. The camera exif is ISO 400, f/6.7 @ 1/125 sec with a focal length of 17mm.
