Description
Canada's Mt. Robson is the highest point in the North American Rockies at 12,972 feet. It has on of the greatest vertical reliefs on the continent at 9,760 feet. When I was traveling with my trailer up to Alaska in 2018 I passed by it on the highway, looked back and was blown away by how the naked relief reared up over the surrounding forested landscape. I've seen the vertical reliefs of the eastern Sierra in California and Mt. San Jacinto in Southern California, both higher than Mt. Robson, but to me this is the most impressive.
